It’s fair to say that Wednesday night at Trinity World Champs was a mixed bag of performances and results for the TPH Racing team.
Alex rode well and looked strong but didn’t trouble the podium. Keeds warmed up well, made sure he was on the front row of the grid then somehow shipped his chain at the start and had to battle for a mid table finish from last place. Adam went for a double header by riding both the 3/4 and the E123 races, but whilst working hard and burying himself came away dissatisfied. Ryan got himself into the main bunch, worked hard but finished outside the points. The story repeated itself with the Womens racing, Lucy and Molly started well but ended up doing solo TT’s. The saviour of the evening was Becky who in a 2up TT stayed away from the chasing Elite riders until 2 laps to go when “Super Woman” Gemma Melton bridged and rolled the pair. Becky and her TT partner continued to work and came in ahead of the rest of the field with Becky in a fantastic 3rd place! Awesome ride Becky and well done for saving the evening for the rest of us...
